All about Claire
Welcome to our new Clerk to the Parish Council, Claire Llewelyn. Claire has lived in Coxhoe for over 15 years and knows Coxhoe and Quarrington Hill well. Councillors appointed Claire on the strength of her administration skills and community development experience. She brings knowledge and skills gained over a varied career. Her working background is in NHS learning disability services, community development for local government, Citizens Advice and lately pensions administration. Claire has a strong community focus and was Cub Scout Leader in Coxhoe for three years. Claire wants to ensure the Parish Council is accessible to the public and to further improve confidence in the villages that the Parish Council has the well-being of the community at its heart. There are exciting and interesting times ahead, including developing the next Parish Plan and ensuring our villages continue to thrive and be great places to live.
Claire said: ‘I am delighted to have been appointed to work for the Parish Council and the community. I love working with people in our communities and ensuring their views and needs are channelled to the Councillors, and to supporting the Council in their decision making. I encourage everyone to get involved in the local issues that affect us all’.
Claire is available for visiting members of the public at the following times:
- Mondays 3pm to 5.30 pm
- Wednesdays 9am to 11.30am
