There is currently one vacancy in Coxhoe Ward and one vacancy in Quarrington Hill Ward.
The vacancies will be filled by co-option at a meeting of the Parish Council.
Candidates are asked to submit an expression of interest by 5.00pm on Wednesday 30 November 2022 in the first instance, so that their submissions can be considered by Parish Councillors at their meeting on Wednesday 7 December. If either vacancy is not filled, it will be re-advertised with a new closing date.

Auxiliary Youth Workers
We are seeking to recruit a small number of part time Auxiliary Youth Workers to join our Parish Council team delivering sessions in Coxhoe and Quarrington Hill, with sessions provided by Youth Workers employed by the Parish Council. Our current team is made up of a Senior Youth Worker and a Youth Worker, and contracted or casual Auxiliary Youth Workers.
We offer varied sessions and events for children and young people over a wide age range. We take a young person centred approach and aim to provide the best possible experience and outcomes for young people in a fun, supportive, safe, inclusive and positive environment. Our vision is to inspire and empower young people in Coxhoe and Quarrington Hill to fulfil their potential.
Whether you are an experienced Youth Worker or have relevant experience and interests to bring to our team, if you would be interested in helping us to deliver our youth sessions, please check out the Candidate Information Pack, and complete our application form (links below).
The role will involve supporting, organising and supervising fun, safe activities for young people both indoors and outdoors. There will be a need for a flexible approach to work.
