Please come and join us as Coxhoe kicks off Christmas in style for 2021. Meet at the Village Green by the Pit Wheel on Sunday 28 November 2021 from 4.00pm to 6.00pm.
There will be refreshments available (at extra cost), including hot dogs, doughnuts and coffee, and a stall with Christmas cocktails, mulled wine and Christmassy beers run by the Bear and Bottle.
There will be a tea cups ride, shuggy boats and glow sticks stall.
We are hoping for a very special visit from Santa Claus on his sleigh during the event to help us turn on the Christmas tree lights – why not come along and see if you can see him there?
The Christmas tree lights will shine brightly and welcome the festive season. We look forward to seeing everyone there.
A donation will be required for the event; please put money into the buckets on each entrance.
We are also asking if you can please bring along an item for Coxhoe and Area Community Pantry. Tins of beans, tomatoes, tuna, ham and soup are always welcome. There’ll be a bag to collect these just inside each entrance.
Some of our businesses will also be open on Sunday for you to stock up on Christmas gifts. There are details of local businesses on our local businesses and traders page.
Please note that everyone will need to gather on the grass to the back of the village green for safety reasons. Please follow any guidance from our stewards and marshalls, and wear suitable clothing and footwear. Alcohol must be consumed within the event area and cannot be taken off the village green.
Please note that any updates on the event, for example if there is poor weather, will be made on our Coxhoe Parish Council Facebook page.
Merry Christmas Everyone!
