Effects or Injury, rehab and exercise on mental health
Free seminars are being provided at Platinum PPT in respect of the above. The training takes place on Thursday 24th January in two time slots, 09.25am to 10.25am and 17.15pm – 18.15pm. The Training includes perspectives from both physiotherapist and patient. Children are welcome at the earlier slot with parent responsibility. There is the option to stay and join parents on the Ball or Cardio Fit where you are welcome to trial a class ( pro rata charge applicable for such a class is £5.50). Emergency First Aid
A 7 hour course with a three year certification on emergency first aid is being run at Platinum PPT on Wednesday 23rd January and Saturday 26th January 2019. the course is an emergency first aid for work course, however, suitable for a whole range of people who want to receive first aid training.
The course has mixed content including legislation, use of equipment, range of ailments and health issues and accident reporting. Participants are assessed during the day and there is a short written test (12 multiple choice questions). The practical element included kneeling on the floor to perform CPR and placing the casualty in a recovery position so participants must be physically capable of undertaking this aspect of the course.
